  dropped off my resume and application at a different place.

  i would love it if i got called for an interview tomorrow, and got hired to start in 2 weeks.

  i called bentonville to see if this was wal-mart's policy: hire women to work as sales clerks and then tell them they have to unload trucks.

  i believe they have gone by other business names such as ?triple a moving and storage?, ?aaa moving and storage?

  with the bbb prior to the move, and all came up fine, only because of their many name changes.

  Have you been able to get a hold of Antonio & Anthony? Have you talked to a Lawyer? Looks like theft to me. Can you call the local TV station to do a story on them?

  I'm so sorry for you. I know how I feel when someone steals just one thing from me. I can't imagine a whole house. You probably held the door for them to steal your stuff. Not to mention paid them lots of money. Go gettem

  Anyone looking for a VB, COM, SQL, Web position in the DFW area?

  it looks like the developer market is getting much better in this area and i'm getting emails from recruiters offering me $$$ if i can direct them to anyone who can do vb, com, sql and web development... including .net and sql dba work.

  (this is referring to several different positions).

  also note that most of these positions are contract and not perm... some do have the possibility of going perm.. i would qualify for most of these positions but i am hoping to get a perm position at my current contract..

  i have been embarressed by my inabilty to express myself on the board.

  oftern i write what i mean but what i wrote is miss-understood and i come across sounding totally stupid or miss-understood.. if you are a lurker on the board (english your mother tounge or not)does your ability to write english stop you posting?.

  if you contribute to the board and your natural language is not english are you happy with how you express yourself?.

  English is my first (and only) language (if you don't count the sign language I have been known to use while driving). I always feel stupid and mis-understood when I post (but thats just me). Your English is fine. Frenchbabyface started a thread a couple weeks ago about her English and how she wanted to get better at it, although she does make errors my brain always seems to figure out what she is saying. Practice makes perfect so they say.

  Do you have "cold sweats"?

  over the last 2 years, especially early on, as i was "forced" to finally face the facts about my life-long religion, i had many a nightmare, waking up in a cold sweat, fearing that i'd lost my hope for everlasting life, fearing that armageddon was just around the corner, wondering if i'd made the right decisions.. perhaps the worst of all was walking away from the bible, insofar as it being carte blanche "word of god.

  " then, of course, comes along the idea of the ransom, etc...'reject jesus, and you've rejected life.'.

  i'd be lying to say that, even now, i don't still have some little nigglings that make me wonder.. however, the days of the "cold sweat" are long gone.. you?.

  Hello all I am back

  greetings everyone after an absence of several months and being offline all that time i just thought i would pop back in and say hello.

  i dont know if anyone will remember me but for those that do i say hello and boy has my life changed.

  i am now a divorced woman living in a suburb that she has only ever dreamed of living in and am part owner of a singles club and having the time of my life.

  Convicted JW sex offender arrested again....

  this article appeared on komo news here in washington state.

  even though the article doesn't mention him being a jw, some of you may recall an article from the news that was posted here on jwd several months ago that told how he was released from prison after serving a term in prison for raping 4 women...one of them with a broomstick.

  while in prison, he became a witness, and i ended up meeting his grandmother out in service in 1988. she encouraged me to write to him to give him "encouragement", which i did.

  County prosecutors argued that Thompson has a mental abnormality or personality disorder that makes him likely to commit acts of sexual violence against strangers

  Seems instead of avoiding him, it would make more sense to be very friendly with him!

  I also hope that jury has a hard time sleeping at night, letting this guy out. I don't think much of the justice system as of late. Caters to the criminal.

  An idea to help Dansk

  hi everyone.............i have a very sweet niece, whose husband has almost the same kind of lymphoma that dansk does, and i have been showing her the board's discussion about him and his responses.

  she had this idea that i told her i would present to everyone to see what you think.

  (doesnt' have to be prayer in the sense we used to think of it, just positive thinking) she is a university of washington educated psychologist, and an ex jw (since she was a young teen) and leans towards buddhism now.. <<i have an idea for people to try that i read about in.
